Magico continues to be an industry leader in producing cutting edge world class subwoofers. Very impressive that they continue to push the envelope even when they already had arguably the best subwoofers on the market with the Q15 and Q18.

I'm assuming a typo, 150hz not 150, 000 ! :disbelief:
Yes, my mistake. Fixed. Thanks!

The change that stands out the most to me is the driver construction. 1.6" linear excursion is crazy, assuming it is equal to or roughly equal to the Xmax. Which it could be given the 4" long voice coil. (I'm assuming it is 4" long, and not 4" in diameter.)

And I remember the days when everyone I knew thought that a JL Audio sub at $6K was unobtainable

As an absolute minimum it should be 4” in diameter… maybe even 5.

i like this one......

Funk Audio - 18.2 Custom Order

and own three of these in my Home Theater room.....

Funk Audio - 18.0

only if we are talking ultimate subwoofers, and not just big brutes, the Funk Audio is doing some amazing things. they are all hand made including the drivers. and they are not one trick ponies, they are very nuanced and musical.

And I only recently got a pair of QSubs 15 (never thought I would have a sub, these are a different story)...
Price difference is somewhat comforting :|

LVB congrats on your 15s. Which speakers are you using them with? How has the performance improved with them?

M3. Immense sense of space and ease, better imaging, and of course, tremendous low end (I cut them at 50Hz). I find myself listening to organ music often. I never really liked organ before.

That sounds absolutely awesome. You have a great system. Wonderfull system!!!
