For those who own or have heard the Mk2's - please chime in what cabling have you found works well with them for you or you've heard works well - both Spkr and ICs.

TIA!

It all depends on a system, room, your particular taste.

My preference is for big, 3 dimensional staging - with micro dynamics and inner detail closely following as priorities. Pass 350.8 and Bricasti M1SE as supporting actors. I am considering Synergistic Atmosphere Level 3 and possibly 4. Room is 14 by 19 feet

It should do the trick. I'm using Synergistic Atmosphere Level 4 right now.

That said, I would never buy a cable without trying it in my system first. This really sould be the last element you buy, which allows you to do some slight adjustments to your system voicing.

I believe Cable Co. allows you to borrow cables to try.

Yes but their SR sale ends today so it won't be possible. I had heard the L3 on a very similar setup with Magico S1 and it rocked my world, as well as my at the time Rockport Aviors. Strangely enough the SR SC did it with Transparent Ultra IC... some lower grade MIT did not make the cut although a higher level MIT per Mikes Rec IC with the SR SC could work. Especially since I may go Spectral in the future

Based on my audition of the Magico S7 with the MIT cable loom, I have to agree with Mike. The MIT sounds phenomenal with Magico. Super transparent, huge soundstage and very precise imaging. There is so much synergy there, the MIT sounds like it was custom designed for Magico.

I'm currently using a WyWires Platinum loom in an Ayre amplified system, Meitner DAC, Shunyata power with the S3 mk2s. The room has acoustic treatment, but is not very large.

The WyWires are pretty neutral and have good transparency and deliver highs with a nice sparkle. Bass and mids are good, overall a pretty balanced package.

Heard the same speakers with MITs in Munich as well and agree on the good synergy. Mike just has to stop that teasing, we should talk about the EVOs though... [emoji3]

Mike, are the EVOs Spectral ready/supporting network boxes? My understanding is not all MIT are Spectral ready. TIA

I just confirmed with MIT. "All MIT cables are approved for use with Spectral Equipment."

I cannot wait to get my new full loom of 2C3D and Evo's in. My first loom of 2C3D sold so fast. When we put them in his system, we just sat there for several hours in disbelief. I knew I would never see them again. :) Hopefully the new owner will chime in. :audiophile:

Now the wait begins for the new ones...build & burn in.

Siltech empress double crown- speakers and IC... luxman 900 series amp and pre.
the Siltech bring so much richness and fines to the package.

Those are awesome cables. I would be interested to know what the price difference is between them and the MIT Heritage EVO.

Great recommendation byrdparis! A number of years ago I had the great fortune to own Siltech Emperors in a Wilson Maxx2 based system. It was the only cabling I could find that could make those darned speakers musical. Oh, my, the tonal density, color and liquidity were off the charts. They also threw the type of 3D stage I REALLY like with perceived VERY PRECISE imaging both behind and above me, dancing discretely ON THE CEILING in very FOCUSED, located 3D space with ONLY 2 channels. The only imaging localization experience that has come even close for me was my full Atmos 11.2 in the theater of my last house. Haven't kept up with pricing on those Siltechs but what I suspect is that those particular cables would cost at least as much as the Magicos! Good news is Magico sound is quite good already so less expense is needed on cabling to get the good sound.
