No one seems to be talking about the effects of these little babies. I've had my M'3s with the MPODs for about four months. I've been letting them break in slowly and have not pulled the pins on the M3 MPOD's until last weekend. I'll admit my bias upfront. The M3's are the best speakers I have ever had in my system or ever heard anywhere period. I attended Mike's Suncoast Audio event a few weeks ago and listened to the pitch on the S3's and their MPODS. I couldn't wait any longer. I warmed the system up, listened to some of my reference tracks and then pulled the pins on the MPOD grenades. Afterwards, I had a different system in a very good way. The soundstage was deeper and wider. The images were bigger. Not a subtle difference. High priced - Yes. Worth it to me - Yes. As expected, the difference was very noticeable on my very best files, not so much on the mediocre ones.
