Magico M9 Install by Suncoast Audio

I'd like to know what M9 does in that room that M7 couldn't.

M9 is an upgrade, right?

I'm not saying this is the situation, I have friends who have this thing where they can't resist having the latest model. One time three of us went to hear a new flagship speaker, the brand one of us owned. Two of us thought it was a terrible audition but I think the 3rd guy had it already in his mind he would get them and eventually down the road he did. They do sound better in his room than the first audition I still wonder if the models were side-by-side if the money spent was worth it. It wasn't my money though so......

Sometimes I wonder if I'd be like that if the room and money. I feel it depends on whether I thought the "upgrae" was an upgrade. Sometimes new isn't better. I have to experience enjoyment from my gear. You have to please yourself, no matter what system you have someone will find something to criticize.

The bass impact is unmatched. The scale is unmatched. The perfection of integration due to the crossover is unmatched. The ease at which they play everything better is unmatched.

The client said the M9’s were a big step up. He could hear it right away.

Do the Magico guys calibrate every MXO sold in the United States (i.e. is this included in the purchase price?) So they flew to Florida from California just for this purpose? By any chance can you post a YT video of them doing the calibration? Do you know the calibration software that they used?

Yes. No video of the calibration.

M9 in Australia is AU$1.5M. As far as I know none have been sold here...I wonder if one day a pair is sold whether they'll both fly out here for the installation.

The Magico team is awesome and supports installs around the globe. I had a chance to chat with Peter about his various destinations and global travel.

Try again or actually CALL them.

It's amazing how well a phone works. :)

That's not right if a manufacturer has an email for contact they should monitor it and respond and hopefully in a reasonable time. I emailed a rep when I was looking for a DAC in an attempt to get an audition, no local dealer, they didn't answer so I took them off the list. I really wanted to hear that DAC but if you can't respond.....

I agree.

But real world reality is many times emails don't get through due to spam filters, network filters, and other things outside of recipient control.

Having worked in email marketing and deliverability for some time as I did, it was quite interesting.

Most people will always follow up with a call, email or text if no response from the first one.
