Great looking room !

I can't wait to get my hands on my pair ! I just bid farewell to my S5 mk 2 today ... this is the first time of my life when I'm selling something with a regret !

There is a saying, that an audiophile has two happiest days in his life: when he buys a new gear, and when he finally sells it. The S5 mk 2 are so brilliant, that I'm wondering all the time what I'm doing. Why sell sth which sounds trully spectacular. Yes, I know the M3s are better. I have heard them twice, but not in my room. I just cannot imagine, how my system can sound any better that what I have now !

Gracious words Adam. All power to you for having deep enough pockets to snap up the M3's...they are brilliant speakers! Though the S5 Mk2's as you said are also brilliant & are very well sorted speakers which can sound spectacular when setup optimally. Magico remind me very much of Infinity in it's heyday in the way they filter down drivers & technology from their reference speakers to lower models. The IRS-V's were truly incredible speakers, yet one would be truly happy with the IRS Omega or Sigma! Heck even the Ren 90's were awesome! I think the same could be said about Magico :).

I had similar emotions util we hooked up the M3's and let them play. Jaw dropping. You won't regret the decision. Spend some time on placement. As good as the M3's were when I plunked them down in the room, after Jim Smith did his magic with voicing, we got to a level of accurate and musical reproduction I did not know was possible. Truly a live concert in your room when using well recorded music files.

First off, beautiful room and you have done a wonderful job on building out your store, I wish you were not three times zones away from me. Love the equipment, setup and the "cute" turntable...:roflmao:
