Great review! Also first time I see Magico confirms the use of graphene in midrange and woofers.

I totally agree, Mike. Magico really hit a grand slam with the M-Projects both in performance and looks.

Thanks for posting the link LVB...looking forward to reading that through after work!

I am also looking forward to JV's review. He seems to hint that these speakers are transparent like the Q without coming across as analytical. I totally agree. I received my pair in January and while I could tell they were very special, they did come across as brutally analytical to me at first - until recently when I found that my amps were starved for power (due to an underspec'd isolation transformer in my electrical path). It's been two weeks since I bypassed this transformer and I have been in heaven. These speakers sound as beautiful as they look.

You're a lucky guy Floyd! The exciting thing for those of us not playing in that league is the prospect of filter down technology making it's way into the Q & S series. If the S7 is anything to go by, i'm a happy audiophile :audiophile:.

I know I would be totally thrilled to have S7's. I dreamed of Magico releasing such a product for months and thought the M-Pro was the only choice. You now have the option to get pretty close to what I have for a fraction of the price!

You're living the dream for sure Floyd :). For me, my end game speakers could be a future S5 Mk II. That could be a couple of years away, and by the time Magico release that beast I am sure they will have further refined the x-over and other areas as well. With speakers that good, I would be looking upstream if the upgrade bug hit me for many many years to come..

Magico M PRO is the most beautiful speaker since Sonus Faber Stradivari. Period. I hope that in a year or two Magico will show something like the new Q5 mk II and the model will be similar to M PRO. I'll have to break the piggy bank, but I'm sure this will be my final speakers.

A Q5 Mk2 would be expensive...yep start stuffing those pennies! :panic:

Since the S7 costs more than the Q5, it appears Magico is replacing the Q line with the S, and will keep the Q7 as the TOL speaker. at least until the S9 and S11 arrive. :)
