Lumin Firmware 11.4

The whole Lumin product line of network players/transport now has Firmware 11.4 available, including the 6-year old Lumin A1. (Which other manufacturers provide free firmware upgrades for as long as we do?)

Firmware 11.4 incorporates the latest Roon Ready SDK to support Roon 1.6.

It also has other minor fixes to support large USB HDD (although use of MinimServer or L1 is preferred), and increases the limit for internet radio stations.
 
Thanks Wklie for warning, always keep us updated. My D2 today is updated, I already have about 200 hours of use, unfortunately I notice a little bright, or rather I feel in some ssss, I do not know if I explain. Hopefully one day solve this "problem" Regards.

Please disable any feature that is not required - Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, AirPlay ("Lumin Streaming"), digital audio output, etc.
 
I have activated Tidal and Spotify, the rest you mention are disabled. The bad thing is that every time I notice more the ssss.

I just got a D1 with LTA Power Supply. I will say that is a lot more transparent then my Simaudio CDP. So I can see where you are coming from with the high freq issue. I would allow at least 300hrs before you decide you need help with the ssssss. I think maybe you should start a new thread if this doesn't surpass. Please list your equipment if you do.

The truth is you're right. Sorry for the off topic. Clarification: I still love my D2 and because of my experience it sounds better than some streamers that are worth twice the price. Greetings.
 
Update worked, I dont use Roon. To make te update possible I had to switch off the usb HDD. (12 Tbyte)

Problem solved. Change the interconnection cables and you're done. They left the Chord clearway, they entered Wireworld Equinox 7. Now happy !!!
