LP Outer Sleeve Choices?

I would like to pick up some outer sleeves for my LPs and I'm having a hard time deciding which type I should buy. After doing some shopping, it appears I have a few choices: thickness, material, fit, and flap.

It appears that 3 mil polyethylene is the popular choice, but fit and flap seems to be of personal preference. I'm currently leaning toward loose with a flap, but does the flap make inserting the LP into the sleeve difficult? Other than a cleaner look, is there any reason to get a tight fitting sleeve over one that should fit most albums?

i agree with all the above posts lol, flaps are awful and bags unlimited rules, and the 5mill sleeves are good.

I agree with the above comments. Personally, I use the 5 mil sleeves from Sleeve City. Problem with flaps is that they always eventually tear, the glue wears out and the flap becomes bent.

Also think about SC's larger outer sleeves if you have box sets too.

Lots of good choices out there. You can't go wrong with Sleevecity and Bags Unlimited. Heck I get mine from Sleevecity and my local record show that happens once a month and have not had issue with any of them. All very inexpensive for a bit of good insurance on those LP covers!
