love this thing!!

Steve,

That's wonderful. I know once you hear the right combo, a special bond exists. I can tell you love it. I can't wait to hear your system when it all comes together.
yes joe once i get and build those cornscalas, i think ill be happy for awhile(couple months)
but this integrated is my future purchase at some point. if i could muster up the money for this and the h3000 phonostage, i think id be in heaven.

I love the simplicity of an integrated done right. Pics or it didn't happen! Where's the instamatic? I had the whole 300b thing locked in a box and buried in the back yard and now you start this again. So will you be putting the Cary's up for sale or is it too soon to tell?

i think my veneres for being so good and so inexpensive are keepers. and i will probably keep the symmetry of the cary/sf that i have going now, it sounds so good right now with the baby allnic in. but i think the integrated may be an addition to run with the cornscalas. or if i decide to go with something different like the Mad monitors or others ive been shopping for. so im liking this 300b setup so much i want 2 different ones.lmao!!
but who knows what the future will bring :D

Ok Steve, Indulge my ignorance , what exactly are Cornscalas ?
hahaha!!! joe the avid speaker shopper showed me these, and since im into woodworking, building them would be something id like to try, and i can finish them with whatever i like.
the best of corwalls and scalas all in one speaker, there are like 4 different kinds
if you like the klipsch sound, you will love these.

As Joe knows, I love the Klipsch sound !! I used to have a pair of Klipsch Forte' speakers, and I just loved them.

Awesome Steve,

I want to get a pair when you have yours done. I may start with the 2 way version first. Can't wait to see/hear yours.

If you are going to build the Cornscalas give some thought to adjustability for the tweeter and mid/horn. A buddy of mine got a pair a month or so ago and had to dampen them down a bit to make them blend with that big 15" woofer. Plenty of bass, for sure. He's driving them with an 8 watt SET.

I'm reading that the ALK crossover works wonders on Bob's Cornscala speakers.

yea joe when i get closer i will talk with you about that crossover. i want it right , out of the gate. and you are welcome to hear any of my stuff anytime. maybe when you get that caddy-v you can be here in no time.lmao!!!!
but we will talk a bit about these cornscalas before i buy anything. i figure what do i have to lose. under $2k, i can either paint or veneer them, depending on how i feel when i get them. they are super efficient, and ive always like that klipsch sound like mark said.
its a win win. lol.
