and which 100dB/W/m speaker are you going to use this with?

im running 90db now and 15w is more than enough, but yes im on the hunt for more effiecient speakers and those waves in my avatar would do wonders .

the demo matching phonostage i was thinking about buying is silver, which wouldnt look right with the black. so spend a few hundred more for new and a matched set, or get a deal and buy the used one. i dont know yet. we shall see.

ok so i finally heard this yesterday
all i can say is :heart::heart: i love this integrated. so smooth and yet so dynamic at the same time. the bass is rich and deep without being over bloated. this is exactly what 300b's should sound like. and it was using the emmision labs 300b tubes which add power to the amps 12.5w rating. and are so huge that the glass covers cant go back on them. think i need a pair for my amps.
everytime i hear an allnic product the same word comes to mind, dynamic. its like a new school approach to tubes. nothing laid back and midrangey about them. the highs and lows are all there and the soundstage on their phonostages is as good and in most cases better than i ever heard from any phonostage at any price.
anyway, this is a super integrated amp and at just $6900 msrp, is a real value, and keeps up with anything ive heard in the last couple years. its a heavyweight at a great price!!!

Steve,

That's wonderful. I know once you hear the right combo, a special bond exists. I can tell you love it. I can't wait to hear your system when it all comes together.

I love the simplicity of an integrated done right. Pics or it didn't happen! Where's the instamatic? I had the whole 300b thing locked in a box and buried in the back yard and now you start this again. So will you be putting the Cary's up for sale or is it too soon to tell?
