I'm one of the few guys left who hasn't joined Facebook I guess. The "Like" symbol has been run into the ground from overuse. Even my damn dentist has a "Like us on Facebook" sign hanging in front of the dental chair so you're staring at it while they are working you over. I could understand it if you saw that sign at the Happy Ending steam and cream massage parlor, but a dentist office??

I have a Facebook account, but wish I didn't. I never go on it. It's stupid. "So and so just baked cookies". "So and so just got their hair cut at First Choice." Really, who gives a crap?

Exactly! My wife lives on Facebook and Farmville. I'd also be afraid that old girlfriends would come popping up out of the woodwork.

Let me think, did I have any old girlfriends that were into audio?

What does that matter??:huh::huh: So you had an old girlfriend that used to look like Twiggy and 30 years on she now looks like Piggy. Who wants to see that even if she does like audio? Some people ask me why I don't go to my wife's High School reunions. Um, just like beer has a born-on freshness date....

speaking of girlfriends, haircuts & alcohol..... :snicker: :snicker: :snicker:

Not being a savvy social media person myself.....what does the "like this post" or "thank for this post" do and what are the benefits of using them?

Sorry, I'm a dolt when it comes to keeping up with trends like this.

Avoids people clicking reply and "+1". It's what the kids are doing these days....apparently.

When your grandparents are on Facebook, how cool can it be to today's kids?
