Ok everybody, Mike is lusting after a hard to find album. It's Alison Krause and Union Station "Live", from Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs , it's the vinyl version !

Very hard to find, as it is no longer made. Anyone with a lead, let us know !!

Thanks Joe, Thats the problem.........$400.00 for a copy............I was hoping someone could find him one a little cheaper !!

And you're right, he is a vinyl whore !!!!

Send me your paypal email and I'll chip in :)

Sort of like a "jimmy" fund for Mikey.

Mark...that is a very sought after LP and since being out of production, the going rate at mosy places is in the hundreds for a sealed album. Even used ones go for north of a $100. I will keep my eyes out for one.

I have the cd version which sounds amazing. I can only imagine how great the mofi vinyl is. Good luck! And if you find multiple copies...I'll take one please ;)

I have the Double-Disc DVD version (with picture), and it wasn't $400; more like $30 or so (PCM stereo, and DD & dts 5.1 surround tracks). :)

- Ok, we have someone here who's after the vinyl; then just take two dollars off from everyone here on our next paycheck! :D

I want Rockport Avior speakers....hmmm:skeptical:....I wonder how much from each of your paychecks that will be??:doubtful:

:D

PS: I will gladly chip in to get the AK and Union Station Live Mofi LP set for Mike! Anytime. So if someone wants to organize the fund raising drive, happy to participate.

Did this happen? Count me in if the fund is still open!

Mike, went to Princeton Record Exchange today. They did not have the Live album, but did have New Favorite used. LMK if interested.

Hehe...if she is my wife you wouldn't see me here. No time to do anything else.

Nope...:( what would I have to do to play DSD ?

You need a DAC capable of playing DSD files...and some form of music server - like a CAPS 3.0. PM me if you have any questions.
