Leonard Nimoy just passed away - RIP!

Makes me want to try to find his albums. I think he did two of them. Awful as they were, I still would like to have them. It's Spock after all (Leonard Nimoy invented the character too if you did not know) and in my opinion, nobody else in the actor line up of all the Star Treks could play Spock except Leonard Nimoy. He will be sorely missed. The funeral services are going to be huge, I can see it coming.

The Spock character was the whole reason I tuned into Star Trek and became a fan. I only like the original series the most though I must say. One of my favorite episodes is "The Way To Eden". I call it the Spock Rocks episode because he plays groovy music on his vulcan instrument. (I've always wanted one of those too). Kind of a cross between an electric guitar and an autoharp.

Wow! Even NASA is weighing in!
I recall unexpectedly meeting George Takei many years ago and in our hour long chat I recall him telling me that Leonard Nimoy was one of the very few people from Star Trek that he kept in touch with and that he was not only a true professional, but also a true friend and a kind man. (I'm somewhat surprised that I remember many bits from then, but one doesn't forget once in a lifetime chance meetings like that).
 
My favorite Spock quote: "After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true".
