Looks like 6Moons is working on a review of the Trafomatic. Looks like a great piece and the owner of the company is very approachable/reachable.

Looking forward to your thoughts when they arrive. I hope to hear that they are terrible. :) Because if not, I'm in trouble. I'm sure the GAT v2 is amazing. The new combo will be off the hook.

:D:D If all goes as planned I'll have them before the end of this month. It'll be tough parting with the ART Monos, the ART 300s have some big shoes to fill. I'm only a teeny bit worried. :huh:

Absolutely I am. So happy for you Ray. Can't wait for your thoughts. Do not worry, CJ would not come out with these amps if they were not better. OMG! They will be awesome.

The new CJ ART 300 mono's look nice. 300w/ch on only 4 KT150's. That's running the tubes pretty hard. From what I have read, the quality of KT150's can be quite variable, so I would recommend getting some good back-up tubes from a reputable source. Don't go looking for a bargain with this tube. Pay a little more and get good quality and tubes that test well.
 
I was a bit worried as the Monos were my first "big-tube" amsp.. all those KT-120s. Fortunately it wasn't bad. I had two failures early on, but not a one since. (3 years) I'm "ASSuming" the KT150s will be similar reliability-wise. and half the tube count can't hurt either.

We'll see. :popcorn:

Picked them up yesterday... absolutely lovely sounding already. so far they are filling the shoes of the ART monos very nicely.
