Wow, that's pretty amazing especially when you see it mapped out like that.
 
That's what I thought too. Bombs coming out of China all the time. But what in St. Louis could they be attacking?

Nothing really it seemed as if Canada took no hits when even Iceland was hit. The fall out was , I know no matter where you live life is over most likely no one knows for sure and I hope we never find out. The USA Russia and China no surprise they were targets but some of the others did . I read some where we know what weapons will be used in ww3 and that ww4 will be fought with clubs. Meaning ww3 will set us back that far. No one knows what will happen lets hope it is not war of any kind

There are plenty of wars going on right now in the world and not all of them are being fought conventionally.

Thanks Garth. As Mark has pointed out, the wars of today are not conventional as we know it.

In case you don't know (?), the link Myles provided is real time data of the cyber-attacks/attempts that Norse - Live Attack Intelligence monitors in real time. These are "some" of the active attacks in cyber-space happening right now.

Thank goodness we have the protections we DO have. But, we need more and better internet shields/defense tactics to thwart those who wish us harm electronically....which as it appears, may well be everyone.

This I know lets just hope no one goes all in.
Would a few years of global peace be so bad and it sure would be something new.

Your right I did not look close enough , I thought it was warheads . If the internet is brought down we would all have to go back to TV and Music not so bad really. Sorry I got the thread wrong and off topic.
 
I think Putin is the wildcard right now. He is sending planes (bombers and escorts) all over the world again like Russia did during the cold war and testing every country's defenses. He is also threatening all of his neighbors and many people are convinced he is trying to rebuild the former USSR. European countries sure are nervous. Let's hope oil prices stay low which will curb Russia's ability to continue to be a worldwide nuisance. Their economy is built on oil at $100 a barrel.

If it were just Internet surfing, email and the fun stuff on the internet that were to break that would be one thing.

However, what the bad people want is to break our banking systems (electronically), our power grids, our cell phone service, our air traffic control, etc. In other words if we don't keep the baddies out, not only could our email and local internet access break, there could be sweeping calamity for how we function as a society (all of our eggs are currently in the electronic basket and more eggs going in every day).

That's what happens when you have a gas station masquerading as a country. But if you read the latest pieces, sanctions are really killing Russia's economy and they will be cooked in a year when they have to look at refinancing. And for whatever the reason, the Chinese seem to be abiding by the sanctions and not investing or opening their banks to Russian businesses.

Between the sanctions and the low oil prices, Russian is in trouble financially. That's why they are screaming to have the sanctions lifted even though they haven't modified their behavior and adventurism.
 
Shouldn't most of those attacks on the US have come from over the North Pole rather than across the Atlantic?
