Hello everyone, new member here from Canada. I have owned a pair of Aubergine
DB7’s since last summer, mine are only the basic model however.
Still, just love these speakers as they are by far the best I have owned.
I have a Nagra integrated driving mine.
Currently in the process of upgrading my source, I am leaning towards a Lumin P1.
I think I need a minimum # of posts before I can post photos.
Thanks for the welcome guys,I have been reading Audioshark for years, so decided it was about time I join up.Welcome to Audioshark! Congrats on a terrific pair of speakers. We showed those at the Florida Audio Expo and they sounded terrific.

Ah!
Clearly high end equipment look
The rest of the system please... :audiophile:
beautifulOk that worked, I will try the other one.
Congrats and happy listening! Kharma has practically doubled their prices from just couple of years ago, just nuts! At least in the USA, which is a shame really!I believe Mike the Shark dropped them because of that. Great speakers, would love me some Db-9 & 11, but these are really priced out of my budget at this point.I recently traded in my DB7’s for the signature version in Charlie Brown color.
Loving the upgrade so far as I break them in. I also no longer use a Nagra amp directly hooked up to my Lumin P1. Now I have an Angela Gilbert Yeung line stage preamp and power amp.
Also added a couple of his external power supplies. I have had the preamp for a couple of months, but got the amp at the same time as the speaker swap.
I know, I got a significant discount off retail price. There is no way I could afford them without that plus my trade in equipment. They are pretty much broken in now, and sounding very good. The dealer I got them from had the exquisite speakers there too which happened to be playing. He told me they were 95K, but I see them listed on his website for 115 K. WAY beyond my budget.Congrats and happy listening! Kharma has practically doubled their prices from just couple of years ago, just nuts!
