Heard these at RMAF and CES. The best thing I can say is that they sounded best off axis.

joe- just saw a pair of dali epicon 2 on agon- reduced (since used) complete w/stands- should fit nicely

Yes indeed Cyril. Strads are high on the list in addition to the 40.1's that are incoming. They could be a destination but I can't just have one set be destination speakers. Right? I could be jumping the gun but I love/need variety.

I really think 40.1's and Strads will be the combo going forward.

You may be weird, but that's not because of speaker choice.

I have seen those speakers before- I had to look up the word "hideous" in the dictionary, and there they were. Without a doubt something that belongs in "weird science- the 33rd sequel".Couldn't live with them even if they did sound like a full blown orchestra, which i doubt
