Contributions the likes of which Dan made are why I hang out here at AudioShark. I’ll miss his presence.

I am very sad to read this thread. I have exchanged messages with Dan several times. He was always open and friendly and accepting of others. I am so sad today. RIP my friend and enjoy your reunion with your love, your wife...

So sorry to hear this. Dan was the first one to friend me here and I enjoyed his posts and messaging.

We will all miss him.

RIP Dan. You were one of the first interactions I had on an audio forum and the reason I bought my 601's. You're in good company now.

Dave

this is terrible news. Dan's contribution and logical thoughts here and on Audioaficionado will not be forgotten.

RIP Dan

I was thinking about Dan not long ago as I didn't see his regular posting, always friendly, helpful, best guy around, and now I just see this thread ...

My deepest condolences to the family and all those that were close to Dan.

I always looked forward to Dan's post in the "What are you listening to" forum.
My musical taste aligned with his and I was able to "discover" many new artist from his listings.

Will play a tune today in Dan's honor.

A credit to our hobby and a terrific guy who will be sorely missed. He's one of those people I wish I'd known personally. Condolences to family and friends. RIP, Dan.

Have not been on AS frequently these last few weeks due to travel.

This is such sad news to get back to! Dan was a presence in the audio forums he participated in.
Will miss his deliberate manner in which he addressed a topic starting with the first words in bold
My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Dan ... we will miss you! Rest in Peace.
