On YouTube there is a video that explains how to place it, what I understood is that between the 2 washers you have to be more or less 2mm apart, and I see that you have the washers glued to each other and the space is between the speaker and ring. Which one is right?

Since I bought the Magico A3 speakers I've been debating which isolation device to use with the speakers. I have the Gaia II plus carpet spikes coming next week. I found this video from Iso Acoustic on installing the Gaia under ones speakers.

Has anyone compared the IsoAcoustic Gaia vs. Stillpoints on speakers?
The Gaia are certainly a better value depending on which Stillpoints version.

Received my Gaia II yesterday. My one apprehention using the Gaia II instead of the Magico Apods was if the difference of the two designs and the height of the A3s would have any negative effects. The Apods just screw in the same as the original spikes. And you can adjust to level the speakers. The Gaia II will and did raise the A3s. And leveling and getting the logos facing forward or backwards is kind of tricky and a bit silly IMO. But, that's just what you have to do. I only received one box of four carpet spikes and after contacting The Cable Commpany they will ship the other out post haste.

I've only had a short time to listen and I'm still evaluating. The soundstage has been raised but not to any adverse effect that I can notice at this time. I added a Shunyata Venom V12 NR power cord the day before and its impact seems more noticeable to me. Greater clarity in the midrange and tweeter details. That is one hell of a cable.
