I am a audio hobbyist in S Florida. I enjoy Planar Magnetic speakers like Magnepan and Eminent Technology. I am on a quest to find box speakers which I can afford which compare favorably, to planars. My reason for joining this forum is to get help with some Wilson Audio Cubs I bought used, which seem to have issues.

I heard a system with Eminent Tech being driven by Conrad Johnson that was a sweet sound. I've heard Maggies several times not bad I'm just not a fan.

I've read reviews of Dali that have compared their sound to planar due to the very low distortion. They use some type of patented magnetic material to achieve that. May be worth a listen if you are looking for a box speaker with similar qualities of planar.
