I just ordered 50 Mofi "Master" sleeves as well as 100 tight fit outer sleeves.

My question is, what do you guys do with your old original inner sleeves when you replace them with new quality sleeves?

Of course, old nasty plain white sleeves will simply be tossed, but a lot of inner sleeves have album art and track information on them, all of which you would want to save. But where/how to you store those?

Just curious more than anything.

Place both the new mofi sleeve containing the cleaned record disc (I presume you are cleaning the records themselves before placing into a new mofi sleeve?....if not, you're wasting the new mofi sleeve itself by simply transferring a "dirty" record into a clean sleeve) and the original sleeve together, side by side and slip into the outer album cover. They should fit stacked on each other in most cases.

I keep the old sleeve in the jacket. I only throw out the inner sleeve if it is actually identical to the sleeve I am replacing/transferring. In my case, I also use the MoFI inner sleeves.

The QRP sleeves are just as good. I'm thinking about stocking these also for AS purchases.

I never use the original sleeve once the vinyl has been washed for the first time. I never play vinyl that hasn't been washed first. I never sleeve vinyl until it has been washed. I never leave vinyl laying about past the listening session. With such a regime, there is no need to replace inner sleeves more than once.

Do you surrender yourself to vinyl also?

I use MoFI inner sleeves. I keep all original inner sleeves inside the record jacket except for the really cheap paper sleeves with a hole in the center. I toss those in the garbage unless they have printing on them.

Mike, of course I'll be cleaning the records first. I figured that was a given, hence not mentioning it in my OP. ;)

same, put it in the sleeve

Steve, that's a lot of "nevers"! LOL

And yes, this time around, I've pretty much surrendered myself to vinyl.

I do exactly the same Steve & as Dan said, if it's a crappy inner sleeve I throw it & only keep sleeves with artwork etc in the out sleeve.
