Hi Elcoholic
that is one of my absolute favorite albums.
I have 3 versions an old LP,the 1th CD version which Sounds good and a newer 24bit remastered CD which sound terrible, as if they just pumped up the highs and lows without having actually listened to the music.
How is your HD tracks version and do you know how it was done?

They don't really say. The download includes a .pdf scan of the liner notes and the jewelry box liner from the Fantasy Reissue SACD Cat #RISA-9407-6. Sounds fantastic on my head phones, should sound likewise at home.

I picked up a nice early gatefold issue of this last night at Fingerprints and gave it a spin. Sounded great, but had some surface noise and seemed a little light on the bottom. I'll give it another spin on my RCM and try it again, but with the Grado tonight.

That and remember to turn on the amp for the sub before having an Old Fashioned :)
