Coming in for review at The Listening Chair YouTube channel we have three very interesting products from Vera-Fi Audio for the North American and European audiophile markets. These product are the following:
• The Puron AC palm-sized power conditioner ($250/all prices USD) is said to reduce noise, grunge, and other unwanted artifacts from the circuit when plugged into an AC wall outlet, and thus greatly improve an audio system’s performance.
• The Swiss Digital Fuse Box ($395) (not shown) is said to safely replace an audio component’s fuse, which is viewed by many to be sub optimal for audio performance. With this product, the fuse is replaced by a one of several specially made solid metal rods that that have negligible resistance and can pass exceptionally high currents. The fuse box itself is placed in a supplied power cord that is positioned between the user’s audio component and the wall. According to Vera-Fi, the box magnetically measures current flow to the component and immediately stops current draw if the specified current value is exceeded.
• The Vera-Link amp ($199/pr) is said to easily turn any passive speaker into a powered (50Wpc), Bluetooth speaker, thus allowing streaming from any Bluetooth enabled device. This is cool as it can give new life and capabilities to that older, but still great sounding, passive speaker that is sitting around unused!
