Hello all,
I actually posted in another forum before introducing myself....so I'm backtracking a bit!
I've always loved good audio since I was a kid. I saved up my sheckels and when I was 18 bought the biggest speakers I could find at Roger's Sound Labs.....they had the 15 woofers of my rock n roll dreams and lasted for many years. I recently picked some surround speakers from RSL. Howard Rogers is still around and he's terrific to do business with.
Fast forward to 59 years old. Ive finally acquired an MC-500 by trading some other items away. It's far more powerful than I need, but I'm believer in reserve power. The Mc makes my Klipsch speakers sing!
Anyhoo....I have plans now to pick up another 500. Not sure when it'll happen. They're not particularly plentiful. I may want to add a dedicated pre. But, need a new processor first. Need a new rack to support the McBeast as well.
Nice to be here. I look forward to being a part of the AudioShark community!
