Only if it were a constant 8ohm (doubtful). For example, if the impedance drops to 4 in the bass region, double the power is needed. Actual impedance measurement (not "spec") is very helpful.Don't forget to add 3dB to the speaker's sensitivity spec as you listen to a pair of speakers.
Assuming Nola's KO 90dB sensitivity spec is accurate, you'd have @ 1m:
93db @ 1w
96db @ 2w
99db @ 4w
102db @ 8w
105db @ 16w
108db @ 32w
111db @ 64w
