...to your primary stereo setup?

Lately, I've only been getting to listen intently for a couple nights per week for a couple of hours each session with my main system downstairs. So, maybe six hours a week is all. This is pathetic.

Instead, I've been listening to my upstairs setup while I work during the day. Though the upstairs setup sounds fantastic in its own right, I have to keep it at a low enough volume while attending conference calls or working with others on the phone so its simply turned into background music. Occasionally I get a chance to go sit on the couch and enjoy the music during the work day but that's becoming more of a rarity.

10 (if a busy week) to 30. 20 being average. I average 2-4 hours a night and more on the weekends.

I'm fortunate that my dedicate room is sound proofed (one smart thing I did when we built the house). I can blast my stereo, and you cannot hear it downstairs.

Not sure if this counts, but I also listen to Tidal on my computer during the day (checking out new albums mostly).

Typically 25-30 (but some weeks as little as 15-20) with another 5-10 on my home theater (but music listening, not movies or TV)

I listen to headphones about an hour a day, the big rig, I hear it mostly when I come home and the wife is playing it so the big rig is about an hour a week, sometimes we play an album together on it. I don't listen in the car.

I listen 6-12 hours per week during the fall and winter and about 2-6 hours per week during the spring/summer.

Being a hybrid system, it's on every evening we're about.

A proper digital setup would allow me to listen during the day while I work.

Being heavily invested in analogue, I need a no nonsense ADC in the chain to help get me there.... Any suggestions?

I guess I am lucky that I listen at least 6 hours a day. I also get another 6-8 hours of critical listening a week. My only system is in the front room. We both pick a few albums or tracks for the morning and I lucky to have one of the best public radio stations in the US, KRVM and it plays while we do some of the household chores.

An average of 20 hrs a week; mostly during the weekends. Now that I'm not traveling as much for work, the average should go up.

Just curious when listening in the HT do you listen in surround or stereo?
Usually stereo, but if it's a concert BD or DVD then surround if it's available (quite a few concert DVD's have only 2-channel audio, somtimes 24/48 PCM stereo)

good thread, i often wondered this about people.
winter 20- 30 hours a week
summer 1-5 hours a week:(
spring and fall in the middle somewhere.
some days i get a music bug up my a$$ and do all day/night session, but those are getting rarer and rarer.

with the Northeast winter kicking into high gear, 20hrs a week is min for me . That will change with boating season but that's 3 months a year. I love winter for that reason alone, nice warm tube glow and fav beverage
