How about some suggestions for a new CD player

I would like to point out my inability to focus on any of your posts lately Mike.
I'm not sure "Avatarism" is actually a condition, or even a word for that matter, but I feel I may be suffering from it.
I'll google it just to make sure.;)

I told Eric that I would ship him a cd/player that I have and no longer use. I hope to get him back but we'll see. In any case, next week FedEx or UPS will be delivering a nice unit to him.

For me, people like Eric are very important. I have full respect for him, and I hope he'll be back.
The music he listens to is the music he loves, and all of us we listen to music too, and music we all love.

There is nothing wrong with a $500.00 cd player whe all have to start somewhere but a big ticket item it is not, sorry if you where offended that was not my intention, in audio there are many many steps i am 68 years old i have been in audio for more than 40 years this is my only passion, i don't drink i don't smoke and i don't do nightclubs, my spare change goes into audio gear and 100% cd,s and i didn't start with the system that i have now, all i can say is that you have much better gear than what i owned when i started, once again i'm sorry if i offended you it was not my intention. André
