Holiday AUDIO Wish List?

My first exposure to KT-150s was when I reviewed the Raven Audio Silhouette monoblock amps. To me, the KT-150s combine the best of what KT-88s could do (think NOS Genelex KT-88s and not current production KT-88s) and added an even better, deeper bottom end along with a glorious midrange, and great highs. All the while, they act like they are loafing along and never breaking a sweat while they are blowing your room down. As good as the KT-120s are (and they are really good), the KT-150s are simply better.

Mark, that is exactly as I found them to be as well, great description. Just for giggles I put the 88's back in my amp, lasted one side of an lp & have never used since.

While we are at it...Blonde audiophile, well endowed & likes red wine.

I hope you are talking about your girlfriend, otherwise this conversation just turned into a rainbow. :doubtful:

If you are only hoping to get at least one of your items on your list, "various vinyl releases" should be much easier to obtain financially than your other choices. Your other choices are quite spendy.

(Ducks) My holiday audio wish list is short and simple.

Hmm. I think I've been a fairly good boy this year so maybe, just maybe, I'll score one of the following items:

A Zoom H6 recorder.
A bunch of new music (namely a couple XRCD's and a couple Analogue Production SACD's)
A pair of Rosso Fiorentino Volterra's
The motivation to get off my butt and to get the Karan integrated back up and running again!

Yep, and when hot rodded...they can do wonderful things, if I'll ever get a pair? Highly doubt it. Bought myself a headphone amp last month and called it my xmas gift to myself :)
