Well already I have received some Kvetching in a letter I received from a publication. They took their ball and went home LMAO
Their are too clueless to realize no one will notice them not being around....except their own ego's.
Some people have called me to say "oh the battle with the mag's right now..." My response is always the same: That battle has already been fought and the mags lost decisively. They just don't know they've lost yet while the rest of us have.
I'll never forget the very first video I ever posted I was attached within minutes by a former has-been (never was very good to begin with) mag writer and his editor who both pass their time on forums. Their panties were in a knot because I dared to use the title "An Honest Review" of a Pass Labs amp.
They claimed I was somehow "targeting" them because I used the word honest and was implying they were not honest. After I stopped laughing at their paranoia I realized it was their guilty conscious.
Then they claimed how "dare" I state in the video that the Pass was a high quality product, that would seve many people right, but that ultimately wasn't my favorite sound. Of course I told people they needed to go listen for themselves.
The has-been mag guy literally said "you failed in your responsibility to protect the company as your review could hurt them financially". He also asked me to tell him where I bought it from (with my own money) so he could call up and chew out the store for selling it to me.
It was at that moment I knew just how much of a joke these once-king-makers had become and how desperately they were still trying to pretend in their own minds they were relevant.
Newflash - they are not. I think they are afraid many people are realizing now how useless they have become, but how much of a joke they always were..
