Me... Well, I have been an audiophile since I was maybe 15. Divide my time now between Jerusalem and the US. My "main" system at this point (I aolso have an overseas system and one in my office) consists of a Hegel H160 amp, Vandersteen Treos, Rythmik sub, and sources are a NAD M4 tuner, recently acquired Mcintosh MR74, PS Audio Directstream DAC (I am a sometime beta tester for PS Audio) and a self-built server running JRiver. Later this year I hope to be testing the new upcoming PS Audio server as well. I use a PS Audio P5 power regenerator. Cables are a mix of PS Audio and Shunyata for power, Audioquest Colorado and Audio Sensibility Statement for interconnects, and Audioquest Rocket 88 for speaker. Am also a new owner of a Bryston BLP1 turntable with Ortofon Quintet Black, which plays through a Tavish Adagio phono pre with upgraded Jensen transformers, upgraded power supply transformer, and various NOS tubes. I had let my analog habits languish for a bunch of years and got back into it recently - am having a great deal of fun! Nice to be here!

Jay, you have a very complete and well sorted rig there with some good value choices of gear. Along with some DIY nouse, i'm sure your system must sound very good indeed! Welcome to the forum :).

Thanks, I am very happy with it!!! My next step will probably be the PS Audio BHK separates, but that will likely have to wait until my next birthday (got the Bryston TT/Ortofon for this one.) At some point will get more into DIY; I grew up as the son of an ee so I do at least know how to solder.. main limitation is time!

Thanks everybody. Sheltie1, there is a surprisingly robust high-end scene in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv- i say "surprisingly" because everything costs a lot more, and I have no clue how people here manage to afford it on local salaries. Have not had to buy anything here but I did go to one or two shows.
