Just saying hi to the group.
I've been out of the loop on audio for a number of years now, but my wife and I have both decided it's time to retire our aging gear and try again with something newer and better. I've been lurking for a month or two doing research, but figured it was time to officially join in. So be prepared for a range of annoying new-guy questions...
One of the biggest challenges for us is our location. There are some shops carrying quality equipment here, but the range of brands is limited, and tends to be the larger and more commercially popular ones. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make it very difficult to audition components.
Anyway, looking forward to joining the community!
