Hi all,

I'm back into hi fi in a big way since I moved into a more permanent home in London and I'm really enjoying all the tweaking. Currently running a Linn Majik DSi into a Nord One UP SE NC500 driving Proac Response One SCs. Also have a Pioneer PL510a for occasional vinyl duties.

Next upgrade is either a tube pre to go between the Linn and the Nord, or a small, musical sub... or both!

Great - thanks hifinutt - I will contact both. You don't happen to know any British tube preamps with remote controls do you?

yes the sachmo has a remote i believe .

i am sure sjs would sort out a remote . he seems to get glowing reports and a friend who has just tried loads of pre amps has just ordered one

Sorry yes - I missed the Sachmo's remote. Will drop both a line. Luckily there's an Icon dealer just 3 miles from me so will head over this weekend - thanks again
