That is a beautiful speaker! I saw in the original thread you had the MD2's and have moved now to the VA. I think you owe it to yourself, if you liked the tone of the MD2's, to check out Rosso Fiorentino. Rosso speakers maintain the tone of Usher but take everything else to much higher levels. I think the Volterra would be a great fit for your system if you find yourself wanting to move to something else.

All my Usher clients fall head over heels for Rosso Fiorentino and upgrade when the funds allow it. They really aren't competing lines as I see the Volterra as the 'upgrade' for the MD2, but there is a significant price jump to get the Volterra. It's more of a true upgrade path than X is better than Y.
