Hi Folks,

My name is Dean.

Just relocated to Boise, ID from Portland, OR after 4 years in grad. school for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. During my time in Portland, I had to put away all my nice Audio/Video gear due to our home being to small and me being too busy. Interesting to see all the changes in A/V in the last 5 years.

Now, I am setting my system up with a NAD M12 pre-amp with a Bluesound Vault 2....will getting it all setup this next week, very excited about the changes to my system, with the new pre-amp and whole streaming Digital audio files. Hope I like it.

Any tips for the various digital file formats?
 
Hi Dean, good to hear you are getting back into what I call soulfood. The hi-res files are a tricky one as it all comes down to the original mastering, as once a pig, always a pig. I haven't downloaded a file for a few years now so others will chime in & let you know who have the better/best files, welcome!
