Hello all and good evening to you. I am Tom and recently joined this forum. It's nice to see some familiar faces from other forums on this board.

A little bit about myself. I have been into audio since I was 8 years old (a very long time ago) and have thoroughly enjoyed my audio journey. I have had many a system over the years, as many of the folks here have had the pleasure of experiencing), I have started and organized audio clubs/events, moderated on a few forums for a combined time of 30 some odd years and travel often to hear different gear/systems.

I enjoy hearing different things and have honed in on the sound that I prefer. My current system brings me many, many happy hours of enjoyment and, as always, I am looking forward to sharing my experience with like minded individuals and learning a thing or two along the way.

So, with that said, I'd like to say "WAAZZzzzzzzuuUUUP'" to the peeps I know already and I'd like to offer a "Hello, I am Tom. Nice to meet you." to those who may not know me.

Oh, FWIW, I listen to vinyl, physical digital music as well as stream music. I have fun with all of them and enjoy each for what they have to offer.

Don't haze me too gawd awful bad, just 'cause I'm the new kid on campus. :)

I look forward to our discussions. See ya' 'round campus!

Tom

Hey, bud....I hope all is well with you. (we'll talk shortly about getting up with one another)

Here is a little bit of trivial poop (stool, if that word is censored here) about me.

At the ripe age of 15, I was running the sound board for Dave Grohl's band in high school. Yes, he dressed and was as crazy as he is now.

The principle of my school used to call over the entire loud speaker to address me to go to, "The Office". While I always thought I was in trouble? That usually wasn't the case (even though I earned it....unbenounced to them). They called me in to set up the sound system for an auditorium GTG or for whatever reason they needed a sound setup.

I was the only one in HS that had a key to multiple thousands of dollars worth of gear. This caused a plethora of debate within the staff at the school but at the end of the day/year? They allowed it....even though it was against school policy.
