I just took care of replacing my little mini system (I refer to as a sleep aid) with a Yamaha unit from Accessories4less and it's a Refurb. That is, it's supposed to be a Refurb, but I can't tell what was done to it. (I thought it was going to look used or have something missing or something).
I waited a little longer than planned and the unit was marked down even more, I got in for $156 incl shipping, well under my $200 max I anticipated. The thing is I can't tell it's a Refurb. It came packaged like it was new and there is even the factory protection stuff in the CD drawer and everything. New remote, all parts are there including covers for the iPod dock and USB ports (two things that will never be used). There is not even a hair width scratch on it. Doesn't look like a refurb to me.
Heck, for less important stuff if the need arises again, I won't hesitate to check in at Accessories4less.

Congratulations Eric. Sometimes open box stuff gets sent back and repackaged. I'm glad you are happy.

Enjoy.

That is what all (vast majority) of customers are saying about A4L Eric.

* When you buy a refurb from them you have the assurance that they tested it to make sure it is in perfect working order, and looking brand new.
And they don't test brand new units already packed in boxes; so that is the advantage when buying a refurb from A4L. ...In addition you pay less.

Yes, I'm very pleased. (Of course between this and the new cart I ordered for my Pioneer TT and some more cleaning fluids and such, I've used what I've saved. So back to saving up for the other couple of things I need. It will take a little longer now due to some unexpected expenses and a rise in others, but it can still be done).
This was a great deal because I only needed something used (but wasn't going to find that on craigslist or anything). This is better than used and far less than the $240 new one. I used my other mini system almost every night to help me sleep and have been without it for a couple of months or so.
I have rain and other environmental CDs I play that help me sleep (I just set the shut off timer on the player and hit play and I'm off to dreamland in a matter of 20 minutes, sometimes less). It really works! I know this from both training and experience. I know how to use music, generative noise and frequencies to change energy in people and environments.

Yes, like I said, if I'm ever in need of a less important item like that , I won't hesitate check A4L first. They sell other more mission critical items too, but going refurb on those items makes me very nervous and I have read plenty of problems with going refurb or used on such things.

Their customer's service is excellent; they will always refund you fully if not entirely satisfied.
...No matter if it's ten bucks or ten thousands.
And they are authorized dealer on everything they sell (Marantz, Denon, Onkyo, ...).

I bought a refurbished Marantz SACD player from them years ago….a 3K player at half off. I had some issues and they took care of me with excellent customer service, very responsive. I do remember that the player shipped to me in a generic box, not original.
