That's terrific, Cyril! Two of the jazz piano greats. I hope you have a wonderful time. Please give us a full report.

And thanks for posting the concert dates, Dan!

Ken

Well the day has finally arrived and I will be checking these two jazz piano greats tonight at 7pm at Boston Symphony Hall. :yahoo1::exciting:

I will let you guys know how it was when I return. Heading out to grab an early dinner shortly.

Ken (and anyone else interested), I just have to say that seeing two jazz piano legends sit down and exchange point/counterpoint and improvising off of one another, exploring themes, melodies, lyrical meanderings, and just plain old having a good time was just a treat. It also happened to be Herbie Hancock's birthday today, so the audience sang hapy birthday for him and Chick Corea went on a riff on that to which Herbie followed. Just a lot of fun, great music and it sounded wonderful in the BSH. For those who might still have a chance to go see them (see schedule in post #1) and if you are a jazz enthusiast (although I would say simply if you are a music enthusiast), go see these gentleman playing at the top of their game. Very cool show!
