Hello to all foreros. It's been a while since I'm looking for a network player for my system to take advantage of MQA (I have Tidal HiFI) I currently have
integrated amplifier Accuphase E370 + Cambridge Azur 851N (XLR connection) and the boxes are ProAc Response D18, I really enjoy a lot, my favorite genre is jazz, blues, some pop to vary a bit too. Looking for information about Lumin, I found this forum. I ask for help to the foremen that have or had the Lumin D2 or T1, mainly I am interested in the D2, but if they advise me the model T1 it could be that it is a little effort too.
As you can see, I have a very simple set, and I would like to continue having it in the same way, that is, have a network player with a built-in DAC, decode MQA, and play FLAC files via USB. (without having to use PC) Which eligo? Alguen could compare CA 851N vs Lumin D2?
I apologize for my English (Google translator)
Thank you. Greetings.

Lumin’s are a great plug-and-play streamers that sound awesome. Pick a spot in their lineup that fits your budget and you’ll be streaming tunes in no time. I love my D2 for these reasons.

That said, I’m sure there are other satisfying options out there. Best of luck to you.

T1 is a distinct step up from D2, especially if you like warm analog sound. See if you can get an audition of them.

You can play music files from USB drive connected to the Lumin directly, controlled by an iPad. No PC is required. However, it's best to store the music files on NAS running the free MinimServer for browsing flexibility.

By the way, your current setup has non-matching XLR phase for the network player and Accuphase. You should set invert phase in your network player. Invert phase feature is also present on Lumin, so you can use it with Accuphase as well. In addition, Lumin product line also offers MQA and Roon Ready.

[/ QUOTE]

Thank you very much for your comment. Well explained. Unfortunately I have no chance to listen to them (either D2 or T1) I live in Argentina and there is no distributor of the brand. Thank you very much once again for your time. Greetings.
