Just want to introduce myself and say hello. My system is very basic.... Dagastino S250 stereo amplifier. Audio Research Ref 6 preamp. Chord DAVE DAC. Apogee Duetta (1 year old custom rebuild w/external x-over). Cables are mixed bag. Some Siltech, Echole, Shunyata, Tara Labs. I use the SOtM Ultra with matching ethernet switch (clock upgrades in both) along with Tidal/Roon/HQPlayer. Vinnie Rossie mini DC4ever PSU handles the SOtM @ 12v and Uptone JS-2 does the ethernet switch @ 5v. and the OS on my 6700 based windows 2012 (server) AO optimized, Fidelizerized, and Process Lassoidized. My dedicated Sound room is 14 x 18 x 9. Speakers are ~ 5 ft out from front wall, and 1 foot from sides. Very little absorption (basically none) but lots of diffusion all around. I like all kinds of music, but focus on classical and prog. rock. Thanks for the opportunity to share and experience!

Welcome Rael, basic system you say? It makes me shiver to think what it will be like If it gets a bit more sophisticated!

Thanks for the nice welcome. I guess being somewhat "old school' where having a cassette deck (to record tapes for tunes in the car) a turntable, an equalizer (If I remember correctly it was a Soundcraftsman) Pioneer RT 707 reel to reel, it seems basic, but I get what your saying. I guess I could simplify and get rid of the preamp and use the volume control on the Chord DAC,but that ain't happening. Anyways...thanks again.

Basic? Sounds to me like your in the advanced camp! Good to make acquaintance!

Coming from a fellow D'agastino owner I will take that as a compliment. How long have you had your Dag stuff? Treating you well? I have heard the Alexia spkrs. with the stereo version(Dag) and it was spectacular. As of now, I have my amp on a Symposium platform, which I believe is pretty much accepted as being the real deal as they have stood the test of time, but I know that HRS does make a custom stand to fit the whole D'ag product line. At ~ 3k for the M3x they must be special. Nice to make your acquaintance too.
