Hi Everyone. I've received a few e-mails about Audio Shark and heard some good things so I lurked a bit and was impressed with the knowledge and content posted from many who participate here.
My name is Grant Samuelsen, Marketing and Sales Director for Shunyata Research. We are a small Washington State based company specializing in the design and manufacture of power and signal distribution systems. Our CEO/Designer is Caelin Gabriel, a former military scientist who developed
low-level signal acquisition systems for the military, but now applies his skill set to the more enjoyable
pursuit of high-performance music systems.
Since the early days of rec. audio opinion, a few hobby related forums were interesting to read, but participation was more or less, "at your own risk", especially for a manufacturer. More recently, forums such as Audio Shark have appeared that have more self-controlled memberships and astute moderation, making it less of an adventure to participate.
Caelin and I would be pleased to participate here as our time allows and answer general questions that relate to our areas of experience. For specific questions about our products or their application in personal systems, it's always best to e-mail or call us directly. Due to work-day time and travel, we won't be able to check in every day. After speaking to Michael and looking over Audio Shark, Caelin and I look forward to reading and participating as our schedules allow. Thanks to Jock and Michael for the kind invitation.
