New to this so here we go. I’m researching on how to connect multiple receivers to the same speakers as I’m building a vintage collection. Want to know if there is something out there I can purchase before a commit to building one myself. Thank you.

Welcome - Assuming you are talking about amps - I have used a Mapletree Audio Design SP 1 Amp/Speaker Selector for this application in the past - works great.

Thanks for the information, I’ll check it out.

Hello & welcome.

I know of speaker selectors but not anything the other direction. Unless you found one of those switching boards like they used in the big box stereo stores.

I’m thinking of building one and basically do the circuitry backwards so that I can achieve my goal. Doing my research as well because I basically want to bypass my main unit’s speakers all together and do either an interface or a manual linkage.

Welcome GiJoe, still got yours from when you were a kid ?

As for your receiver/amp selector box, yes basically a speaker selector box in reverse. I would think wire one as such or build your own. How many receivers are in your collection ?

What part of NYS do you hail ?

Unfortunately I don’t , nor my big Jim with karate arm action. I’m from Long Island, NY. I’ve been looking for such animal but it doesn’t seem to exist. So I started to purchase all the parts I’m going to need for what I basically want. Still looking for some multiple connections relays but, nothing that would help my application. I’m going to build a passive one with the ability to grow later if I find the electronics I need. My collection is a little limited now to just an old Kenwood a Technics and another Marantz. Want to to keep them in the wooden cabinet family so that’s what I’m collecting. I just restored a pair of IV series Bose 901 that’s part of my man cave set up I’ll keep you posted with my progress.
