Happy Independence Day - 4th of July to everyone!

Happy 4th from St Petersburg (Russia)! No fireworks here tonight!

Taxation without representation. We fought the Revolutionary War over this nefarious assault on liberties and yet our great country has reverted back to this behavior ourselves at a dark time in our history. We have borrowed almost 20 trillion dollars in debt that must be paid by generations of Americans the members of which have yet to be born let alone vote.

Its still a great day to celebrate our nation's birth but what we are doing to our kids and grand kids makes me sad. I fear the great country whose birth I celebrated in my youth on this day is slipping away and few people seem to even care.

Happy Independence Day to all. On July 4th, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed declaring our nation's independence from Great Britain, 229 years ago today.

Thick ribeye steaks on the grill, baked potatoes in the oven, a fresh tossed salad, and homemade key lime pie for desert. That's about as American as it gets. Cheers to everyone.

Gonna start partying soon [slam'n down drinks] with more than 30 buddies on the lake on a party Yacht. Tomorrow we will all be in pain, that I'm sure but well worth it. Young and live'n hard!

Oh man, that ribeye grilled medium rare was fabulous. The loaded baked potato wasn't bad either and the Key lime pie was a tasty way to wrap it up. YUM!

Think I'll mix another Tanqueray and tonic with fresh lime slice. The second one is always better than the first. Headed down to the studio with that one.

Dan, it's obvious you know how to cook a steak perfect! I'd love to try your Key Lime Pie. And as far as Tanqueray, I prefer mine in a great Martini.

From the 13 Colonies to the 50 States, and the 51st and the 52nd and the 53rd... Have a memorable Independance Day. :)

The world is waiting for USA to confirm the Ancient Alien Conspiracy Theory and current Black Ops Interstellar Space Program. We want to join in on the fun happening off the overcrowded third rock...The world will assimilate to a new objective if it is shown the truth. :exciting:

Dan - Was wondering what beverage you were going to have with the steak...Sounds like it was fantastic!

Aside from watching the neighborhood (Baghdad) fireworks, I am watching this.

This seems appropriate for Independence Day.
