It would be an understatement to say I was smitten with the Sonus faber Aidas that we had in for review at the end of last year. They certainly are one of my favorite speakers produced today. For a number of reasons, I just couldn't mobilize fast enough to keep the Aidas here, but, I am equally excited about the Guarneri Evo's for room two.

Anxious to see what color they have sent!

We'll keep you posted here as Room Two gets a major overhaul, centering around these fine speakers. The goal is to create a very high performance sounding room, yet tailored for those having a smaller space. The room is about 13 x 15, which for many of my friends in London, Paris, Tokyo, etc., is actually a good sized room.

Big speakers aren't the solution for everyone seeking high performance sound....

Stay tuned.

I briefly had the Evo for about 2 weeks before the Mrs. Made me get rid of it .. For the room that I have, the Evo sounded best to me compared to my Futura..

I can not wait for your opinion on these babies. Bruce here just got a pair and loves them. If I can do some creative financing and sell some other gear, I hope to get a pair. As good as my TADs sound, I think I'd something a little more mellow or less in your face.

Walnut looks gorgeous but red is still my favorite color.

I've had my Evos for about three weeks. My 12 X 13 ft. room just loves them.
