Drove to Meet Jock aka “Professor” in Portland this morning. He drove through snow conditions. I drove on clear open roads. Everything is up and running. This is quite a jump in dynamics, openness, and control from top to bottom. I have a lot of setting up and testing to do. But, I’m really happy with this upgrade. Thank Jock for meeting up with me today.

Congratulations! Jock is awesome. Keep the updates coming.

Thanks all. I really enjoy watching sports and listening to music instead of tv chatter and commercials. I plan on spending tonight using the Lumin T2s DAC. And tomorrow I’ll play with the Diablos DAC. I feel like the A3’s tweeters got juiced. :P

Congrats, enjoy your new gear!

Congrats! Looks like a very well thought out system. I do the SAME with music and sports. Especially when watching golf. Nice to know, I'm not the only one....

Thanks. When I decided to get back to just a two channel system about three years ago. I kind of knew where I wanted to end up. I wasn't sure how much I wanted to spend to get there. I have exceeded what I thought I'd spend. But, I'd say the results are worth the time, effort and cost. I'll need many hours to sort though my options and configuration. But, that's just a matter of time and some help from people here.

A couple of questions on the Diablo for owners or sellers of the 300. 1. Do you plug the Diablo 300 straight into the wall? Or use a line conditioner? I have two 20amp outlets in my system. One is used for my digital end and Samsung Q90R tv with a AQ1000 line conditioner. The other is for my audio end. I use another AQ1000 with my Lumin T2 and Oppo 205. I'm currently plugging the Diablo straight into the same outlet. 2. Do you leave the Diablo 300 on at all times? Or at the end of the day do you go to stand by mode?

Straight into the wall. I would turn off when not in use.

That’s what I did last night. I just was wonder if since it has a preamp built in if a line conditioner would change things. I also put it in standby mode. But, the manual says leave it on. So, I was wondering if that meant standby mode. Thanks again Mike.

Darrel, excited to read your happy with the Gryphon.

I look forward to hearing it soon enough!

Congratulations on your new Diablo 300 - Fantastic integrated!

And, buying from a great guy like Jock is a great experience.

I was listening to the Beatles “Abbey Road” second disk on Roon today. It was as if the microphones were plugged into the Diablo. It just picked up everything unfiltered. What a great album.

Ed your always welcome. I think you will be impressed since your first visit.

Thanks Ritmo. Jock’s a great guy. A few minutes with him and you know his character.

I love that Diablo 300 with Dac/
in 6 months went from Rogue Audio m180 with Rp7 to Luxman 509 Luxman 590axII to and Pass INT250, but when I got the Diablo 300 was a game changer. Now I sold my Kantas 3 and debating if I should go to A3's or A5.
