Gryphon Kalliope's In The House!!!!!

Friends,

The Kalliope arrived, now it's just wait the burn-in and enjoy. Initially I will be using my MacMini until I decide on what to use (Aurender, CAPS, Amare Music, etc ...). Some suggestions are welcome.

For now I will be using the Light Harmonic USB cable, because Kalliope has its own power supply for USB.

Ricardo, you could always use the Lumin and it's digital (BNC) output. Ethernet to Lumin, Lumin to Gryphon. Use the free Lumin iPad app. Voila!

I LOVE it Ricardo. And, I have tested the BNC out and it's excellent. I would do anything to avoid having a computer and all it's noise.

Thanks Nelson. I have a TaraLabs Omega Gold BNC cable. It's superb. That being said, I really am loving my Ansuz cables, which have a similar sonic characteristic to Nordost.

I was speaking to someone today who is head over heels about Stealth cables. Ever heard of that brand?

I see the Kalliope has an Word Clock output; can you run it as master clock as well by connecting it to the Word Clock input of the Esoteric K-03? The manual doesn't mention anything about it.

I will not continue using the K-03 with Kalliope, the only way I could use the K-03 is USB.

I could use a master clock for Kalliope and the K-03, but I have another problem, I would be restricted to using the USB output of K-03 for Kalliope.
