Hello

I have been lurking on this forum for a while and figured it was time to formally introduce myself. I have been involved with this addictive hobby for more that 45 years. Over the past 10 years or so, I have been able to assemble some nice rigs for my primary audio room, living room and office.

My most recent upgrade is a Gryphon Diablo 300 (which should arrive in less than a week).

I recognize several members from another forum, so for those folks, I suspect that the news of yet another integrated amp would be no surprise.:yahoo1: Special thanks to Mike for all his advice and patience with me!

The Gryphon Diablo 300 is on my wish list. Looking forward to your impressions. Which system will it be powering?

Hi Dan! Good to hear from you. The Diablo will be in my main system at home. It will replace the Ayre AX-5 Twenty. It is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday.

Welcome! Great to see another familiar face (ok....'avatar!')! Congratulations on the Gryphon Diable 300;
I would love to hear more about Gryphon from you and also Mike for potential future musings.

Good to see some familiar Avatars/Names! Dan, Craig and Mark - I am sure you are well versed on my OCD-fueled purchases. I have the room acoustics dialed in now and I am very happy with my speakers, components and cables. Hopefully, the Gryphon will get me to the level I am looking for.

The Diablo 300 is the Integrated for people who want the big soundstage and thunderous bass of big Monoblocks and a preamp, but don’t have the space or budget. Yes, it really is that good.
