Hi All,
Decided to finally register as ive been lurking for some time.

Been a busy time of late for my system to say the least!
Ive basically built my whole system from scratch over the last few months, its been fun but its really nice to just enjoy the music now.. although there are a few more accessories I would like/need ;D Then ill be done.. hehe yeh right :D

Hi Joe, Garth
Thanks for the welcome.
I thought i put the items in my sig but it hasnt showed up. ill figure it out eventually.

So far my system is - vitus rcd101, gryphon diablo and i just got the new Wilson benesch act one evolution speakers. Cables are siltech princess xlr and pad poseidon speaker cables.
Next on the list is power cables so that is my next topic of research.
Cheers

I see your sig. First 10 posts don't allow photos, but I think Mike can change that.

Hi Bob, another W/Benesch fan here too. Looks like Boris set you up well, are you in Melbourne?

Hi Bzr,
I'm in brisbane. Good to hear from another wb user, not a lot of info out there from WB users. I'm hoping to change that [emoji1] which WB are you running?

Hi Bob,
Another WB fan here. I used the ACT for about 5 yrs. Also used a single Torus with my current Verity speakers for a bit. They make excellent product and the new version are even more amazing. Congrats.
Chris

Hi Chris,
How did you find the torus? I'm thinking of adding one eventually.

Bob, I have the Trinity's & 2 Torus Infrasonic Generators. Yes the Torus are as good as they say they are. Mine are not for sale, no!

Bob,
The Torus is really good, and the controller is equally well built but for my medium sized room, it was overkill so i let it go. Make sure you check the compatibility of your amplifier(s) as the ideal connections favour quite specific amps and restrict use on others. The online owner's manual has info on this.
I only had one. I can only imagine the sound of 2 of them!!

Hi Bob...

You really can't go past Siltech for power also. Siltech Ruby Mountain G7 + Furutech Flux-50 inline power filter is a killer combination for each of your components.

Bob's your uncle. Awesome gear you are stringing together there mate. :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm currently using the Act's in a small room and the bass is adequate. But I'll be putting together a dedicated listening room soon so the upgrades could really get out of hand ! [emoji106]🏻

Hey Steve! I haven't thought about using a flux 50 before but they look a serious piece of kit! Would using one negate the need for a conditioning board?
Thanks so much
Rob

Bob....In most parts of Australia, yes IMO. Also, depends on how clean your household power is too. Of course they are are secondary inline component level filters without any surge protection. Surprisingly, most of the dirty power noise is caused by the AC exiting the component itself or its nearby companions. I have found that using a passive board or distributor (star network topology) can help aggregate the benefits within the systems's power network.

Siltech + Flux-50 is an awesome combo. My Siltech RMIIs were factory terminated with the Furutech FI-50 option, so it's also a native termination match.

Thanks for the response Steve. A lot to think about and I think a few trips south are in order to see what I am going to go for.
Cheers
