I loved my C1 Sigs but I found for the majority of my listening, which is low to moderate volume and mostly later at night, I had to crank the volume a little more than I was comfortable with for that time of night. Once you get past a certain volume - they were stellar performers. They disappeared and were just amazing. I do miss them.
 
Joe, your assessment is correct. The Dyn c1 wants to be cranked up. I did not notice it before as I like to listen from moderate to high volumes. When I got the s3ex, i just noticed it does not need some juice for it to sing and at low volume the sound is already full. If you have the chance to snug it up just for curiosities sake, you wont be disappointed. My friend tested a lot of speakers in his home last year and it included some big names which I am very surprised (me not there). I will not name the the speaker models as it will only create controversy. Of course it boils down to preference. This I believe is the biggest high-end bargain for audio speakers especially for me who has a tight budget who would be able to purchase high priced speakers only in my dreams.
 
I'll take a look at them. It has a funny name, but all the reviews and user reports are superb. Congratulations!

We are friends from the other site. When I was reading your thread here about your avatar experience from another site, I thought this is LOTR. I remember you had a similar experience with another forum about web attachments :hi:

You're right; some people are very sensitive on the choice of your avatar. ...I was even banned for life from another audio forum (AudioCircle) especially because of that! ...A woman's two feet, with high heel shoes!
And as you know I was banned for two weeks at another site for providing a link to The Abso!ute Sound (a particular review); which in fact was available for all to see! ...I got it myself from a very good friend at that other site where they banned me for life too for whatever sickness reason the owner has in his axe! And there too they (three/four people or so) didn't like the avatar I was wearing (tattooed tongue).

Anyway, life is such.
