I've only been here a short time myself, but welcome. As far as the class D goes, one of the main advantages is that they're generally smaller and produce less heat so you can hide them more easily.Do not get mad at me for having Class D Audio mono blocks. The reasoning for Class D was simple. I went to move my Musical Fidelity 800 and found out due to a leg injury I could literally no longer lift it. Same with going to bookshelf speakers. The Spendor D9’s were too much to move around.I've only been here a short time myself, but welcome. I had a class G Hitachi receiver once which I think is somewhat similar and it was great.
