Do not get mad at me for having Class D Audio mono blocks. Do have a tube pre amp. VAV Renaissance MkV.
I've only been here a short time myself, but welcome. As far as the class D goes, one of the main advantages is that they're generally smaller and produce less heat so you can hide them more easily. :LOL: Just kidding, there's nothing wrong with class D, and in fact I believe there are some very High End companies that produce them like Jeff Rowland for example. I had a class G Hitachi receiver once which I think is somewhat similar and it was great.

The reasoning for Class D was simple. I went to move my Musical Fidelity 800 and found out due to a leg injury I could literally no longer lift it. Same with going to bookshelf speakers. The Spendor D9’s were too much to move around.
So now I have a manageable system that sounds very satisfactory.
