GAT and ART monos are home .....

Let me know how the magic is or isn't with your cr-1s and have you tried the Gat with any or your ss amps(certainly would cool the room a little)

Nick

I hope to hook up the TADs with the CJ gear in a few days. I should my EAR amp/preamp in a couple of weeks so that will give me another option.

Yes on the GAT with SS amps. It works superbly on everything and especially on my Dartzeel. This was one of my first combos that left an impression on me. It was a no brainer to replace me GAT, the ART monos are just icing on the cake and it's like I struck gold. I have no problem replacing the tubes twice a year based on current usage. I may even consider the ARTsa stereo amp for the summer. Ha! Boy I am one step ahead of everyone :)

Ha!

Laugh it you want, by the way check my sale ad in the shark tank. Holy cr@p is the room getting warm. What the hell was I thinking. :)

Thank you Bob,

I am recovering from last night. Nothing has moved me more that this Conrad Johnson combo. I don't understand it but I am enjoying them immensely.

Joe, great to see you've hit a home-run in the first innings .......

Now this did make me think of a phrase, "so far ahead you passed yourself going backwards", referring to the CJ gear, ;) Congrats on finishing the race Joe, what hobby will you chase now?

JOe

Put those cj amp covers on and take another photo. They are the best looking covers I have ever seen.

Sexy will be back then

Hey Shane...are you mainly listening to SS now with Pass pre/phono and Momentums? I think in all the years we've spoken...this is the first time I've seen you all SS.

Hi Lloyd

Actually the biggest difference in my system is the Deqx HDP-4.

Yes, I am using SS at the moment and it sounds excellent. The SS is easier for playing with the Deqx as I am currently.

I feel I have the best of both worlds now. SS and tube phono/pre and power coupled with the flexibilty of Deqx speaker correction and EQ.

cheers

Joe. When are you going to try with the TAD ? I think you gonna like them better with CJ.

More smooth and better on vocal ~

Great stuff...presume you've evened out your bass response which I know you've wanted to do for some time?

And the grand prize is an all expense paid visit to Joe's house so I can listen to these wonderful amps(I wish):rolleyes::rolleyes:

Bob,

I'll send you my ez pass and cover your tolls. Maybe even have a sandwich ready.

How's your back? Can you help move some gear?
